Switron cam switches designed to meet industrial applications are compact & sturdy. A very high mechanical & electrical life and are used in all the control circuits and instrumentation. These switches are air break & manually operated having overall size of 35 mm in diameter. The versatile design of the switch enables really infinite switching combinations ( multipole, multipositions & spring return ).

Design

Switron switches are modular in construction. Each module moulded from thermosetting material having excellent insulation & antitracking properties houses two pairs of independent butt contacts.

Indicating Plates:
Switron cam switches are supplied with four types of indicating plates having choice of colours.
  • 48 X 48 plastic shroud and plain indicating plate.
    This can be offered with black plastic shroud and colour of Ind-Plates & knobs as follows:
    o White backgrounds and black letters with black knob
    o Yellow backgrounds and black letters with red knob
  • 48 X 48 plastic shroud with itching plate & transparent indicating plate.
    o White backgrounds and black letters with black knob
    o Yellow backgrounds and black letters with red knob
